A mix of Afrobeat, Funk and Post Punk; torn up and pasted back together as one giant, dancey beast. Wild Oyo isn’t just a band; we’re a live music experience. We’ve honed our craft and ignited crowds at a variety of venues and festivals. Since winning Tropical Pressure’s battle of the bands, Wild Oyo have gone on to play a number of festivals and venues across the country including Shambala, Rock Oyster, The Barrelhouse, Tropical Pressure and The Cornish Bank.
These experiences have shaped us into a high-energy, crowd-pleasing act known for our unique blend of Afrobeat, funk, and post-punk. Our performances are more than just music; they’re a full-on sonic adventure designed to get people moving, grooving, and feeling the music.
